The most curious aspect of Water Technology is its multidisciplinary nature. Every one, be a water professional or otherwise, could pose for a while to reflect on how his day to day activity is related with water. Some people will find the answer quicker than others. However, the majority will ultimately find that they deal with water issues one way or the other. Therefore, it would be hard to find a single profession that could claim the issue of water as its sole domain. As a result, trainings or knowledge exchange about water is best done through a multifaceted network of enthusiastic professionals.

Disciplined and structured exchange of knowledge is possible through learning, communication, and project management platforms. This website is set up with the intention of gathering and structuring available knowledge to make learning through learning communities a reality. Different Networks do exist and new ones are being established. It is possible to be more and more aware of and to overcome water related problems in the world by keeping a strong link among networks and network members.
